INMC uses the official Claude Code connector to request usage for a compatible signed-in account. Where the provider reports them, INMC shows weekly remaining capacity, the five-hour window and their reset times.
Being signed in to the Claude website or desktop app does not by itself authorize Claude Code. API credit balance, extra usage and subscription capacity are distinct. INMC never replaces missing readings with a full bar.
Get started.
- Before connecting, confirm your personal account has Claude Pro or Max; Claude Free chat cannot authorize this Claude Code connection. Team or Enterprise eligibility depends on your organization. Then choose Connect Claude in INMC.
- Complete sign-in and approval in the browser using the account that has Claude Code access. Return to INMC after approval.
- Wait for the first current usage reading. Review the last-reading time and each window before treating the connection as ready.
One useful workflow.
- For a long-running task, ask for a compact handoff when a useful milestone is reached.
- Keep decisions, relevant files, verification and remaining work in that handoff. Exclude transcripts and unrelated details.
- Review the handoff before starting another session. Fresh context should preserve the information needed to continue safely.
If something does not match.
- If the browser was closed, cancel the incomplete attempt and start Connect Claude again. Finish the official approval flow.
- If approval succeeds but no reading arrives, verify Claude Code account access and retry the usage reading. A successful sign-in does not prove that usage data is available.
- If it still fails, send the app version, macOS version and the visible connection message to support. Never send passwords, API keys, browser cookies or authorization links.

How do I check Claude Code usage and reset times?
Run /usage in Claude Code to see the plan usage your account reports. After official authorization, INMC shows reported remaining capacity, limit windows and reset times in your Mac menu bar. Compare the same account and reading time.
Can I connect a Claude Free account?
Claude Free chat cannot authorize this Claude Code connection. Personal accounts need Claude Pro or Max. Team and Enterprise access depends on your organization. INMC itself is free; it does not include a Claude subscription.
Why does Claude web or Desktop work while INMC needs a connection?
Signing in to Claude web or Desktop does not by itself authorize this Claude Code connection. Choose Connect Claude in INMC and complete the official sign-in and approval. If you closed the browser, cancel the incomplete attempt and retry.
Are the percentages API costs or a number of prompts left?
No. INMC shows reported remaining plan capacity. API costs, usage credits and subscription limits are separate. Task complexity and model choice affect use; a percentage is not a guaranteed number of future prompts.
