A visible blue update button and a compact brand signature beside the logo.
The single upper update button has a solid blue surface and a white arrow. Click it for release notes and the verified download.
The slogan now sits beside the original logo, leaving more room for your usage cards. Monitor, Settings and connection screens share the same compact header.
Useful notices for low capacity, recent pace and saved resets, with a practical next move.
Current quota readings can trigger low-capacity, critical and reached-limit notices. A recent-pace estimate needs at least 30 minutes of continuous changing readings; it never treats recorded daily tokens as remaining capacity.
A low Codex window can warn when its fresh saved-reset balance is exactly zero. Alerts name the real window and renewal time. Unknown data stays unavailable.
One useful notice takes priority over overlapping warnings, with repeat suppression and critical escalation. Routine-task suggestions are conditional; INMC does not read questions, change reasoning or make extra AI calls.
All notification categories start selected on new installations after macOS permission. The visible app offers that permission once and preserves existing off choices. Optional product-usage reporting remains separate.
Chat-attention settings explain the supported local permission/input events. Codex hooks require the user’s trust review; no request is approved automatically. The new usage-alert guide includes setup, examples, a planning prompt and official references.
Compare a recorded Codex day with your own recent average and get a useful next-step tip.
Select a day in the annual grid to see a comparison bar, your reported 28-day baseline and an above, usual or below label. At least seven prior reported days with a positive average are required.
Missing days stay unavailable and today remains partial. Tips describe useful habits; token activity never predicts remaining quota or guaranteed savings.
A visible update notice opens the same verified download details as the square update control. Tapping an update notification opens those details when the release is still available. macOS permission and your notification choices remain respected.
Claude connection requirements are explained before sign-in, with useful ideas available without connecting.
Clearer setup, practical provider guides and a simpler way to tell us what to build next.
Connect Claude with clearer progress, browser sign-in recovery and a separate current-usage check.
Connection titles stay readable. The square update control uses brand accents and reveals its label to the left without moving nearby controls.
Explore dedicated Codex and Claude Code guides with setup steps, usage explanations, troubleshooting and official sources.
Use task briefs and a compact two-idea picker in the app. Go deeper with eight idea guides and three smarter-usage guides, while five quick shortcuts stay ready to copy.
Send platform requests, feature ideas or issues from the app. Your draft survives navigation, and a receipt confirms a successful submission.
Brand-aligned update controls and useful resources, one click away.
The update control now uses INMC violet and a clearer download icon, with hover, keyboard focus and explicit download details.
Make your plan go further and Ideas to try open dedicated INMC pages with practical prompts and source links. Five quick shortcuts remain in the app; full-library and copy actions have clearer interaction states.

A simpler monitor with a direct path to the full shortcut library.
Browse all now opens the I Need My Credits website with Codex or Claude Code already selected, in your chosen language, at the library controls.
Five shortcuts remain ready to copy in the app. The internal search, filters and long command list are removed from the monitor, along with the duplicate website link.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Start with five useful commands. Search the complete library when you need more.
Opening Shortcuts now shows five commands selected by INMC for each provider. You can choose and copy one without browsing the full list first.
Browse all opens the full library: 20 Codex and 24 Claude Code commands, with search, task filters and practical examples. Back to the five returns to the simpler view.
English app controls retain their correct labels when editorial ideas are refreshed. Copying a shortcut remains a manual action and never runs the command.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Bounded Claude startup recovery, a searchable shortcut library and faster update discovery.
If Claude stops before showing a meaningful startup screen, its owned connector restarts once. A persistent stall offers Reconnect Claude, preserving the existing sign-in. Authorization and permission decisions are never repeated automatically.
The connection screen explains how to reopen the verified official sign-in link if the browser did not open or was closed. Setup errors now retain their connection context.
Browse 20 Codex and 24 Claude Code commands by task, search the complete curated list, read practical examples and copy commands from a compact scrolling panel. Each provider links to official documentation and the website library.
Automatic update checks retry after a one-minute cooldown and repeat every five minutes while the app is open. The header Refresh action checks both usage and app updates. Older installed versions keep their previous check schedule until updated.

A simpler Notifications screen with useful alerts ready after macOS permission.
Usage thresholds, renewals, I Need My Credits updates, and official Codex and Claude Code releases are selected by default for new users. Existing choices remain unchanged.
Videos and tips stay optional. Chat-attention alerts remain a separate choice for each installed provider because they configure a local hook; tapping one opens the original app for your decision.
The main notification switch still requires macOS permission, requested only when you turn it on. The installer is signed and Apple-notarized; installation remains your choice.
Inside each provider’s existing News disclosure, a small Worth exploring area links to official launch information. Dots and Space are identified as ChatGPT features, not Codex quota features; Claude Sonnet 5.5 has its own official link. These time-limited links do not add notifications.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Download the update in the app and, if you opt in, get an alert when a supported chat needs your attention.
Download update is the primary action in the update panel. It downloads verified installer parts inside I Need My Credits and opens the DMG when complete.
Optional local chat-attention alerts can open the installed Codex or Claude app to review a supported pending permission or input request there. Availability depends on provider events and macOS notification permission.
I Need My Credits does not read chat content or approve requests. The signed, Apple-notarized installer was reported working on another Mac; you choose when to install it.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Notification settings now show what macOS allows and how to fix a blocked switch.
If notifications are blocked in macOS, Settings explains why the switch cannot stay on and opens the right system panel. After you grant access, the app checks again when you return.
Send a test alert from Settings instead of waiting for a usage threshold or another release.
Usage and update alerts are marked as sent only after macOS accepts them. Codex and Claude monitoring remain independent of the notification switch.

A guided installer replaces the running app and reopens the new version.
Open the downloaded DMG and double-click Install I Need My Credits. The signed installer verifies the app, closes the previous copy, replaces it in Applications and opens the update.
You no longer need to quit the menu-bar app or drag a replacement onto a running copy. Your connections and preferences stay on this Mac.
Download update now starts the verified download directly. Installation still begins only when you open the installer; nothing installs silently.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Codex and Claude now share the same usage hierarchy and annual-grid layout.
Both cards lead with the weekly limit when it is reported, then show the five-hour session with its own remaining percentage and renewal time. If an account reports only one window, that is the one shown.
The annual grid appears in both expanded cards. Codex displays reported daily tokens; Claude keeps days neutral because its connection does not provide daily totals. We do not infer annual consumption from session percentages.
The original I Need My Credits styling now frames both cards and activity grids. Official provider logos and quota colors remain intact. The signed installer adds no permissions or silent update.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
The menu bar opens I Need My Credits wherever you click.
Click either provider logo or its percentage in the menu bar to open the I Need My Credits monitor. Those menu-bar logos no longer launch Codex or Claude.
Inside the monitor, each provider logo still opens its installed Mac app. The cards, usage readings and connections stay the same.
The installer remains signed and Apple-notarized. You choose when to update; no new permissions or silent installation.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
The new version takes over your menu bar after you replace the app.
After you replace the app in Applications, a newer copy signed by the same developer opens and closes the older menu-bar instance. The old update icon goes away with it.
If you are upgrading from version 0.3.28 or earlier, open the newly installed app once. It closes the old copy for you. Future updates reopen automatically.
You still choose when to download and replace the app. No extra permissions, account changes or silent installation were added.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
The Codex and Claude logos become quiet shortcuts to their installed Mac apps.
Click a provider logo in the menu bar or its card to open that provider’s installed app. A subtle hover shows the shortcut is interactive.
The original I Need My Credits artwork stays intact. Usage percentages still open this monitor, and no new permission or automatic installation is added.
The signed and Apple-notarized installer was verified locally, and the owner confirmed this exact DMG worked on another Mac. Updating remains your choice.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Cleaner provider cards and a Codex connection that can recover without guesswork.
Dashboard appears after expanding a provider. Available resets stay visible and actionable in the compact card.
Dashboard and social links now change only their text color on hover. Keyboard focus remains visible, without a hover container.
Codex recognizes the current official Mac app layout. A connection check now finishes with a reading or a clear error; you can cancel, retry, pause and resume monitoring without signing out.
The signed app and notarized installer were checked on a Mac with current Codex and Claude readings. Updating remains your choice; no new permissions or silent installation.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
A clearer setup flow when Claude needs sign-in or takes too long to start.
Connect Claude now recognizes the current official Claude Code authorization link and shows an Open Claude sign-in action when your account needs approval.
If Claude Code does not move beyond preparation, the app ends the silent wait and offers a clear retry. Your authorized connection and account preferences stay in place.
The app checks for a current usage reading before showing a percentage in the menu bar. Codex, the original logos and update controls remain unchanged; no new permissions or silent installation.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Claude checks automatically when you resume monitoring.
Turn Claude monitoring back on and the app starts a fresh usage check. A visible Checking state explains why its percentage is not in the menu bar yet; it appears when a current reading arrives.
If the check fails or authorization is needed, Settings offers a clear retry or connection action. Missing usage is never presented as available capacity.
Codex and Claude have consistent feedback. Resuming Claude does not refresh Codex unnecessarily. Your connections, original logos and update control stay the same; no new permissions or silent installation.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
See Codex’s shorter usage window without losing sight of the weekly limit.
The Codex card keeps weekly capacity as its main number. When your account provides a five-hour limit, a quieter second line shows its remaining capacity and renewal time.
Expand Codex for the full five-hour reading, with the same remaining-capacity language used throughout the app. No extra account connection or permission is needed.
The menu bar stays focused on the weekly percentage, so a short-lived limit does not replace your main at-a-glance reading.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Smoother monitoring switches and renewal dates with the local time.
Switch Codex and Claude monitoring independently without closing and reopening Settings. Both can stay off without signing you out.
Turning Claude back on while its previous check is stopping now preserves the new request. Cancelled readings cannot replace the current state.
Every quota shows its renewal date and local time together. The current year is omitted for clarity; the full date and timezone remain accessible.
Notification choices ignore outdated permission responses. Original logos, blue updates and compatible download links are preserved. No new permissions.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
A subtle blue update control and working download links from older versions.
A blue download circle appears only when a newer version is available. Hover or focus to reveal Update, then open the release details.
A clear blue download action lets you choose when to update. Nothing installs silently and no new permissions are needed.
Links to archived installers now open the current download page instead of an unavailable-file error. Each published installer keeps its own filename and verification hash.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Easier connection controls and independent monitoring for each account.
Click anywhere on a disclosure row to expand it. Connection options and their buttons stay aligned to the left, with larger click areas.
Turn off monitoring for either account, or both, in Settings. Turning one off never turns the other on. This stops new usage queries without signing you out.
With both accounts off, only the original app logo remains in the menu bar. Click it to open the monitor and resume when you choose.
The menu-bar setup logo is now monochrome and adapts to light and dark backgrounds. The original square tiles are preserved; the app icon and provider colors stay unchanged.
Claude’s menu-bar gauge keeps its original Clay color at every percentage, with dark numbers for clear contrast.
Paused accounts discard late usage readings. Your monitoring choices persist after restarting, and no new permissions are required.
The settings panel stays available when a provider is removed from the menu bar, so you can finish changing your accounts.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
A visible setup entry and clearer ways to reconnect Claude.
When no account has a current reading, the original app logo and Set up or Reconnect stay in the menu bar. Click to open the monitor and connect.
The main menu-bar entry is reused as accounts connect or lose a reading. Only connected accounts with current usage show a percentage, including a real 0%.
Claude now distinguishes checking, disconnected and connection errors. Retry is available directly from its card; requests for authorization offer Reconnect.
Reconnection reuses the authorized session when available. A timeout no longer suggests that your plan is unsupported. No new permissions or silent installation.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Simpler Claude sign-in and a smoother handoff when opening a newer version.
Connect Claude reuses the connector’s authorized session. If sign-in is needed, it opens Claude’s official subscription sign-in flow.
Theme and terminal preferences are handled automatically. Account selection, access permissions and any unfamiliar questions remain under your control.
Connection details stay out of the way. Manual code entry is available only as a fallback when Claude requests it.
Opening another copy reuses the running app. A newer version asks the verified older copy to close before starting. If it cannot close safely, it asks you to close it.
Your accounts, preferences and the original logos are preserved. Download and installation remain your choice.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
A quieter menu bar, your remaining percentage inside a compact gauge, and essential controls within reach.
Only accounts with a current connected reading appear in the menu bar. With no readings, one app icon keeps your settings accessible.
Official Codex and Claude logos remain unchanged, to the left of a continuous bar in each provider’s color. The centered percentage stays readable as the bar empties. It shows remaining plan capacity, not money.
Official dashboards and Codex resets are visible without expanding a card. Eligible Codex resets require confirmation; otherwise the link opens the official usage page.
Claude includes a link to check resets on its official usage page. Availability is determined by Claude; the app does not guess a balance or redeem one.
Each quota shows its reset date and local time first, followed by the countdown. This is not your subscription billing date.
Practical tips cover bounded tasks, appropriate reasoning and focused context. Parallel agents may use more quota, not less.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
A smaller update control. The details before the download.
A download circle appears in the header only when a newer validated version is available. It stays accessible in the monitor, Settings and connection screens.
Hover over it or use keyboard focus to reveal Update. Click to read the release notes, then choose whether to download.
Close the details with Escape, the close button or a click outside. A link opens the full release history.
No additional permissions. Installation remains manual: download the DMG and replace the app in Applications.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
Version notices, compact reset controls and a place to keep learning.
A new-version banner appears above the monitor content when a newer approved release is available. Version 0.3.7 replaces it with the compact header control.
Available Codex resets use a compact count and arrow. Eligible resets require confirmation; otherwise the control opens Codex. Zero or unknown balances are not actionable.
YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn links bring practical AI tips within reach. No embedded players or additional permissions.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
A clearer distinction between hiding the panel and quitting the app.
Hide closes the panel while monitoring stays active in the menu bar.
Quit app lives in Settings and asks for confirmation. Escape or Cancel keeps the monitor running.
Optional product usage reporting stays under your control in Settings.
Archived version. Download the latest version for these improvements and subsequent fixes.
You choose when to update.
From version 0.3.43, automatic update checks run at launch, when you open the panel, and every five minutes while the app is open, with a one-minute cooldown. Refresh and Settings can check immediately. The update control appears only when a newer validated version is available.
On an older version, check in Settings or restart the app to discover this release. The new panel check takes effect after you update.
Open the DMG and launch Install I Need My Credits. It closes the old copy, installs the update and opens it. You remain in control of when installation begins.
