# Your AI usage, explained.

The percentage tells you how much is left. The calendar shows how much you have used. Neither is a bill.

## Menu bar percentage

Remaining capacity in the reported weekly limit. If no weekly limit is available, the monitor uses the most constrained current limit. Open the panel to see the separate five-hour session.

## Weekly limit

How much of your weekly allowance you can still use. The reset date comes from Codex or Claude, not the end of the month.

## Daily usage

One square is one day. A stronger color means more recorded usage. We measure this in tokens: small pieces of text processed by the AI, not credits or money. Dates use UTC, the same time reference worldwide.

## Last update

The date and time of the latest reading. That day may still be incomplete, and later days have no readings yet.

## Empty squares

An empty square means we have no reading, not that you used nothing. Select a day to see whether its usage is zero or unknown.

## Available resets

A reset lets you restore eligible Codex limits without waiting for their scheduled reset. You must already have one available. The app asks before using it and does not buy or create any.

## How to read the squares

Follow the days from left to right, then continue on the next row. Each month starts with its name inside the first square. Select a square to see that day’s details. You can also use the arrow keys to move between days. The Codex calendar uses purple; Claude has no daily totals in this integration. Faint spaces at the very end only complete the grid and are not days.

## Why is the Claude calendar empty?

Claude Code does not share daily usage totals with this app yet. It may share plan limits and the space used by a conversation, but those do not tell us how much you used each day. We leave the calendar empty until daily data is available.

## How do I try a shortcut?

Open Shortcuts to try, choose one, and copy it. Paste it where you send messages in Codex or Claude Code, then send it. Copying alone does nothing. Each shortcut explains what it helps you do and any conditions it needs.

## Can this tell me my monthly bill?

No. Recorded usage is not a cash balance or a bill. Check prices and subscription details with Codex or Claude. The website shows example data; the installed app reads the data available on your Mac.

## Find a useful command

Browse 44 Codex and Claude Code commands by app and task. Each includes a practical example and a link to the official documentation.

## What does a usage alert mean?

A low-capacity alert uses reported plan percentages. A recent-pace warning is a conditional estimate, not a guaranteed deadline or a judgment about your work. Codex no-resets alerts require a current balance of zero. All notification categories start on for new installations after macOS permission; saved choices stay unchanged. Chat attention requires separate local setup.
